Last Sunday when I was chit-chatting with my friends after having dinner, I suddenly shouted out! The COMING FRIDAY is JAMIE’S BIRTHDAY! Jamie is our best friend and we are so busy that we forgot to prepare for her birthday! What gift should we send her?

Jamie is in Amsterdam for her business degree and we are in Hong Kong. We can’t make a nice birthday party for her as gift, or else we need to spend a whole fortune to get to the Netherlands (The point is, I’ve just been to a shopping spree!)

What should we give Jamie as gifts to make her feel that we miss her so much and that we hope we are with her? What would make her feel moved? Although we cannot hold parties for her, we are always with her! What gift can present her such message?

But she is in Amsterdam now and if we post a large gift to her it would be very costly, and it cannot reach her on time too. And also, Jamie’s daddy and mummy are rich enough to provide her whatever she wants.

The views on a postcard are usually taken at a good angle and they are so beautiful that they can attract people to buy it. As a result, postcard can also be a certificate to show that you have been that place. However, since people can upload photo to the internet easily, postcard is becoming less popular.

Nowadays, fewer people send postcard than before but people will but postcards as a gift. Although appreciating the photos on postcard is also good, the objective of using postcard is transformed. Today, many people send e-mail and photo though computer but not postcard.

However, I suggest you to use e-card. Firstly, you can write down words for your friends. Secondly, you can use e-card in anyplace. Thirdly, you can draw a card. You can draw what you have seen in different place.
