It’s an innovation on previous guns because it has a rapid fire option that does not require batteries to work. It’s a bit like a semi-automatic or pump action dart gun. The common drawback with a full on nerf war was a limited firepower. Sure, you could carry a few darts with you and reload but there was nothing akin to automatic fire. This has changed with the CS-35.

It belongs to the N-Strike line of guns, meaning it is not a velcro tipped dart. It can be easily adjusted in the stock so that anyone can fire it comfortably. It looks like your classic Nerf blaster but it has a drum magazine attached. The magazine will take up to 35 darts.
